Abstract

Teacher professionalism is the main key in creating a conducive learning climate to support student creativity and innovation. This research aims to explore the implementation and development of teacher professionalism at SD Muhammadiyah PK Baturan. Using a qualitative method with a field study approach, this research collected data through observation and interviews with various school parties. The results showed that teachers at SD Muhammadiyah PK Baturan have excellent pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. Teachers are able to create a conducive learning atmosphere by integrating innovative learning approaches, such as the use of visual media and group discussions, as well as establishing harmonious relationships with students and parents. However, some teachers still need training to improve the variety of teaching methods. A conducive learning environment is also supported by good physical classroom management, such as a comfortable room layout and adequate learning facilities. This study confirms the importance of developing teachers' professionalism to create a learning climate that supports students' holistic growth.
