APLIKASI TEKNIK MARMET TERHADAP ASI PADA IBU POST PARTUM

Breast milk (ASI) is the best source of staple food for babies because it contains minerals and vitamins that are beneficial for the growth and development of babies. Handling to facilitate breast milk production, one of which is using the Mermet technique in this case study is applied to facilitate breast milk for mothers who experience problems in breastfeeding. The application was carried out at the K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro Hospital, Semarang in the Dewi Kunti (VK) ward with a descriptive research design with a nursing approach that describes the application of the Marmet technique to postpartum mothers. with inclusion criteria, namely postpartum mothers who experience lactation disorders and exclusion criteria are mothers with breast cancer. Data on increasing breast milk intake were obtained from the observation panel. The case study showed that 3 research subjects gave breast milk to their babies ineffectively after applying the guinea pig technique for 3 consecutive days, each for 15 minutes, showing an increase in breast milk production. The application of the guinea pig technique has increased the amount of milk production shown in the milk production results graph.
