Abstract

Professional ethics is an important guideline in the world of education that determines the quality of interaction between teachers and students. Teachers not only act as teachers, but also as mentors, role models, and motivators. This article discusses the importance of implementing the teacher's professional code of ethics in building positive relationships with students. The research method used is library research, by analyzing various related literature sources. The results show that the implementation of professional ethics can create a conducive learning environment, support student character building, and improve the quality of learning. However, challenges such as low work motivation and lack of ethics training often become obstacles in its implementation. Therefore, continuous training and collective awareness of the importance of professional ethics are the main solutions. By upholding ethical values, teachers can become inspiring role models for students and society.
