KONSEP HADIS DAN SUNNAH: KAJIAN INTEGRATIF DARI TINJAUAN FILOSOFIS HINGGA PRAKTIS
Keywords:
Hadith, Sunnah, Ontology, Epistemology, AxiologyAbstract
This article discusses the concepts of hadith and sunnah from philosophical to applicative perspectives, with ontological, epistemological, and axiological reviews. Hadith as a representation of the sayings, actions, and approval of the Prophet Muhammad saw. has a special position as the second source of law after the Qur'an. Through a qualitative method based on literature study, this article integrates the views of classical and contemporary scholars. The results show that although hadith and sunnah are often used interchangeably, they have different dimensions of meaning. Sunnah more broadly encompasses the collective practices of Muslims while hadith refers to specific narratives. This study reinforces the importance of hadith and sunnah in building the Muslim legal and moral system.
