DINAMIKA HUBUNGAN BIROKRASI DAN POLITIK DI INDONESIA: ANTARA KOLABORASI DAN KONFLIK

The relationship between bureaucracy and politics in Indonesia is a complex dynamic, involving aspects of collaboration and conflict. This article aims to analyze the interaction between bureaucracy as a policy implementer and politics as a decision maker. In the context of the democratic system in Indonesia, collaboration between bureaucracy and politics is often needed to realize effective governance. However, conflicts also often arise due to differences in interests, political intervention in administrative decision-making, and the practice of politicizing bureaucracy that reduces the professionalism and neutrality of state civil servants. This study uses a qualitative approach by reviewing relevant literature, regulations, and case studies. The results of the analysis show that the success of the relationship between bureaucracy and politics is highly dependent on the balance between bureaucratic autonomy and political accountability. Therefore, bureaucratic reform is needed that focuses on increasing the capacity, integrity, and professionalism of the bureaucracy, as well as strengthening the democratic system to reduce the potential for conflict. This article is expected to contribute to efforts to create better synergy between bureaucracy and politics in Indonesia.
