PENERAPAN KOMPETENSI SOSIAL GURU DALAM KOMUNIKASI YANG EFEKTIF DENGAN SISWA DI DALAM LINGKUNGAN MA AL-KIFAYAH RIAU

This research aims to analyze the social competence of teachers in communicating effectively with students in the MA Al-Kifayah school environment, Riau. Effective communication between teachers and students has an important role in supporting the learning process and increasing student engagement and understanding. Teachers' social competence, including abilities in empathy, emotional management, and interpersonal skills, greatly influences the success of this communication. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation analysis. The research results show that teachers at MA Al-Kifayah Riau generally have a good level of social competence, which is reflected in their ability to build positive relationships, convey information clearly, and adapt communication styles to individual students' needs. However, several obstacles were also found, such as limited time and workload, which affected teacher interactions with students. These findings provide recommendations for schools to increase support for social and communication competency training for teachers in order to create a more conducive and inclusive learning environment.
