PENERAPAN EDUCATION INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMIS) DI MAS TAMAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM MAKASSAR

With the flexibility to adapt to the implementation of management information systems that have combined online and offline learning into the existing learning process, educational institutions will become more sophisticated and internationally competitive. As a result, schools must be ready to handle any negative impacts or problems that may arise from the use of management information systems in online education. The purpose of this study is to examine how management information systems are used in the online education process. Descriptive qualitative research is this type of research. Data collection techniques include documentation, interviews, and observations. Questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation are all used in this data collection process. methods for analyzing data through data display, data reduction, qualitative analysis, drawing conclusions, and data validity. The findings of this study clarify that the use of data processing applications, especially EMIS, and information technology in the implementation of management information systems supports the learning process and offers educational services by enabling learning practices through the use of technological infrastructure, such as learning facilities that combine computers and wifi with applications. Learning is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation stage which includes compiling an effective day analysis and analyzing learning programs by creating learning media, preparing other learning devices, and compiling a syllabus and lesson plans. The second stage is the implementation stage which includes three activities, namely core activities, closing activities, and preparation activities. The third stage, learning evaluation, which evaluates student learning outcomes in the form of practice, scientific articles, assignments, and written and oral presentations. Teachers also conduct direct observations of students to determine student perceptions of spirituality, knowledge, and abilities. This study focuses on online learning which still requires various efforts to manage it in order to find the best and most measurable formula to achieve optimal student learning outcomes.
